About a week and a half ago, I was able to take photos at a family event. It was Grandpa & Grandma J.’s 60th wedding anniversary. Aren’t they such a cute couple?!? There were so many photos of the day! Because they’re family, I was just snapping all day long; I just couldn’t help myself. Amber (remember, the gorgeous high schooler on the verge of breaking many a young heart from two posts ago?) turned 16 recently, and I had the pleasure of capturing the party in digital glory for her family. It was so much fun…and what a great way to take those photos of every generation that we all mean to take but never seem to get around to organizing. While everyone is present for the cake and ice cream goodness, why not sneak in a few full-family photos? Amber’s family did just that, and now they’ll have their memories recorded for a lifetime!
I was excited when I found out that I’d also get the opportunity to photograph her very special 16th birthday present – a new car! (Now I sound like Bob Barker, but I just can’t help it. It was so cool to watch her reaction!)

This post has been a few weeks coming. Last month, Fred celebrated his 65th birthday!
