The Wines Family
Oh! It’s winter! How did that happen??? I was just getting used to fall, and then BAM! Winter rushed in to steal the show. But winter brings the winter holidays, and I do love the winter holidays, so I guess it’s okay. Speaking of a winter holiday…the Wines family contacted me recently to schedule a photo session that they are planning to use for a special gift at Christmas. Jason and I got to meet Ken & Tanya – a brother & sister who answered the question “So, you are siblings that enjoy each other’s company, then?” with “Well…we do now!”. I know that feeling!! We had a quick session on a very brisk Sunday, and we had the pleasure of meeting Ken & Danielle, Tanya, Scott & Madi, and the cherished dogs from both families: Avery, Mia, Champ and Bailey. Here are a few of my favorites from their session:
I love that last one…the dogs were still in the “getting to know each other” and “oh, there’s a leaf!” phase.

Kramer – Northview HS Senior…the rest!
In Kramer’s sneak peek, you saw just a few shots from Kramer’s awesome Senior Photo session. Here are LOTS more! We had a blast jumping from here to there, and everywhere at Wildwood park. Kramer was so much fun, and had so many great ideas. I was loving this session! Of course, it helps when you have a subject that the camera loves! Kramer wanted to incorporate some of the things that he treasures most into his photos. I happily obliged, snapping photos of his Converse, his class ring, and even his new puppy, Rigley (or is it Wrigley, like the gum?
). Kramer is involved in Drama and Choir and is planning on majoring in music next year when he leaves for college. Jason and I wish you the best! Have a great Senior year!

Kramer – Northview HS Senior {Sneak Peek!}
Because it’s a holiday week, I thought I’d post a few new photos even before the entire gallery is finished. Kramer is a Northview High School Senior, and Jason and I met up with him, his mom, and their new puppy on Sunday for Kramer’s senior portrait session at Wildwood. I don’t want to give away all of the details, so I’ll just give you a quick peek at some of his photos. (And? There are LOTS. MORE. PHOTOS. coming soon!)

Mini Sessions…it’s all in the family
Recently, I had a couple of mini-sessions with siblings and their children. I have one sister (Sarah) and a niece (Reese) who live in Marblehead. I met them one brisk morning in Lakeside for a short, but full of fun, mini-session. Here’s my favorite shot from the morning, but click here to see Sarah & Reese’s Full Gallery.
And because she’s the cutest 5 year old I know (and I might be slightly biased), here are a couple of just my niece:
Just this past weekend, my brother-in-law (Matt) called to ask for a holiday picture with his daughter, Izabel. Here are my two favorite shots from their mini-session at my in-law’s home, but you can click here to see Matt & Izabel’s Holiday Photo Gallery.
And, I just can’t resist posting this next one. I think that Izabel is absolutely adorable with the “scrunchie” face, but according to her dad, it’s actually “pure evil”!
Just wanted to share some of my family with yours! Enjoy!

Leah is 2!
Leah turned two in September, and her mom and dad called me to help them preserve the memories. We had a couple of quick sessions – one in Grand Rapids on a very cold and windy Saturday, and another a week later on a much warmer and sunnier Saturday in downtown Sylvania. I think we succeeded in capturing the pure joy that Leah emits…what a happy little girl! Enjoy!

The Bork Family
Meet Jordan and Christina – Christina and I went to school together. In fact, we were soooo like Kindergarten BFFs! We rode the bus together and everything! Jason and I met her family for the first time this past weekend. It’s funny how people can live so close, and yet be so disconnected…I think it’s Facebook’s fault!
The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center in Fremont, Ohio, provided a festive fall background for the Bork’s family session last weekend. Their 3 boys are full of energy, and the grounds there provided ample running (and climbing!) space. Meet Jordan and Christina…and their whole family, too!

Now you can be a star…
…in your own short video! This new option allows you to share a video on Facebook containing images from your photo session. This is perfect for Seniors, but is also great for young ones, older ones, expecting ones…anyone! Check out a sample starring Brody, a Woodmore High School 2011 Senior:
When you book your next photo session, be sure to ask for a video. You can share this for FREE on Facebook, and purchase a DVD to keep forever!

Trimmer Family…plus the Ostrowski bunch!
The Trimmer Family recently had a photo session at Wildwood metropark. This was my first outdoor session post crazy wind storms, but I think we were able to still capture the feel of autumn! Oh, and they are HUGE Chicago Bears fans, so they wanted a few shots showing off their love of… ‘Da Bears! (I can’t help my self sometimes!) How fun! After their family session, we met up with Nikki’s brother, Tony, and his Ostrowski crew for some sibling/cousin photos. What a great way to spend the afternoon…walking through the park, laughing with family and friends! We should all do this more often! Here are the happy results:

Emma – Newborn
Emma recently experienced her very own newborn photo session. She is such a happy baby, and was even awake for several poses! Big sister, Elyse, happily joined in the fun, posing with her new little sister (and then, of course, on her own for some, too!) I hope you like viewing these as much as I enjoyed taking them!
